In Daniel Winkler's reflection of his days as an enactor of the late 18th Century, he stated that the WK SD1 or WK SD2 would be one of the two Winkler Knives models that would have suited his needs on weeklong primitive treks. Both designs have great utility for everyday carry. The SD2 offers the same attributes as the SD1, but with a utilitarian drop point blade. For some tasks smaller is better and, often, legal for carry in areas/situations where knife regulations are rigid. The all-leather sheath has a tension screw for adjustment and is perfect for in pocket carry. The Discreet Carry clip can be moved from side to side to accommodate left or right hand and adapted to inside or outside waist band.
