Thank you for your patience
Winkler Knives was hit hard by Hurricane Helene. More than fifteen inches of water flowed through our manufacturing facility for two days. After, we had eight to ten inches of thick mud to contend with.
Members of the Winkler Knives Team are working hard to clean up the mess. We anticipate being back up and running with two to three weeks.
For anyone who has paid for an order that did not get shipped, we apologize and will get it shipped just as soon as we can.
Despite our troubles, we are very thankful that our situation is not worse than it is. Only one of our employees suffered significant damage. Many still do not have electricity. Compared to others in the North Carolina Mountains, we are truly blessed.
Thanks for the many well wishes and offers for help. We hope to be back in business soon.
OUR STORY
The history of early America has intrigued me for as long as I can remember. It was this fascination that prompted me to make my first knife in 1975 as part of an effort to authentically outfit myself with the equipment of an 18th century woodsman.
